        CARAMELS

 

Melt 2 Sticks Butter

Add 2 1/4  cups Brown Sugar

Add 1 Cup Karo Syrup Light

Add Dash of  Salt

1 Can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Milk

Bring to a Boil- Stirring So It Doesn’t Stick

Add Candy Thermometer

Boil And Stir Until 242.

Remove From Heat

Add 1 ½  Teas. Vanilla

Pour Into a Buttered 8x12 Pan

Cut When Cool About 5 Hours
